VECTOR Laboratory type high pressure homogenizer is ideal for disrupting bacterial cells (including E. coli), as well as for mixing and emulsifying pharmaceutical emulsions and dispersing nanoparticles. They are widely used in biotechnology research and development, microbial fermentation, cell lysis and the processing of nanomaterials.
VECTOR Laboratory type high pressure homogenizer's all components in contact with the homogenised product are manufactured from 316L or higher-grade sanitary-grade stainless steel to ensure excellent hygiene performance and corrosion resistance.

The one-stage homogenisation unit is configured with an internal heat exchanger to rapidly dissipate the heat generated by high pressure, whilst the two-stage unit is fitted with an external heat exchanger.
The standard configuration features a rotary handle for manual pressurisation, with automatic pressurisation available as an option. The homogenisation valve assembly is made from wear-resistant diamond material and has a service life of approximately one year under a high pressure of 1,800 bar. Actual service life is subject to the properties of the material and the operating pressure.
The VEC-Classic series is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen; the main interface displays the system pressure and exhaust temperature, and allows users to set separate alarm thresholds for pressure and temperature. Should either threshold be reached, the unit will automatically shut down.

All parts in contact with the material are made of 316L or higher grade stainless steel. Sealing materials include PE, PTFE, PU and PEEK; corrosion-resistant seals can also be customised to suit the specific material.
